Louis Onyango Otieno - Chairman

Louis provides strategic leadership to the Sera Afrika team. With over 30 years of experience as a technology and business leader, Louis has accrued a unique set of experiences from the public and private sectors in the US and Africa. He drove the vision and business growth for Microsoft in Africa where he held various senior roles including that of being a founder director of Microsoft 4Afrika. Louis has served in ICT advisory roles to the COMESA Business Council & various African governments. He is also a board member to various private and public listed companies.

Teki Akuetteh Falconer - Director

Teki brings to the Sera Afrika team more than fifteen years’ experience in legislative, regulatory and executive roles in the ICT law and policy as well as data governance across private, public and civil society sectors.
She served as an ICT Legal Expert in Ghana’s Ministry of Communications, a member of the Board of the Postal and Courier Services Regulatory Commission, Secretary to the Ministerial Advisory Committee to Ghana’s Ministry of Communication and the first Executive Director of the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

Kate Krukiel – Managing Director

Kate drives the strategy, operations, and delivery of the Sera Afrika team. She served as the United Nations Director for Microsoft for 12 years and worked heavily in the Middle East and Africa, breaking down social, political, and language barriers to create lasting change in emerging markets. A computer science background, she has over 20 years of experience building solutions, teams, and business models to spur social and economic development. Kate brings expertise in the creation of sustainable partnerships between government, private sector and the UN/NGO world which are critical to the successful development of Africa.

Peter Odhiambo - Director

Peter has more than ten years’ experience providing advisory services to private and public sector players in Australia, the United States, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa. He has advised on a range of issues in governance, extractives, environmental management, and global energy governance. His experience in impact projects has seen him manage over eighteen million US Dollars in development funding and research grants since 2011.
